For bold to be announced in IRC you have to open up the bash script with vim and create press I for insert and then press CTRL+B to create the code for bold.
It looks like this: bold='^B' <- ^B is the code for bold but you can't just type it you need to do the command CTRL+B inside vim.

Bash color ^C got hexcode 03. and you can use hexcode 03 for color followed with the number ie ^C0 <-hexcolor 03 followed with 0 is white color. CTRL+VC creates to create the code for color in vim.
