Activate 2nd graphics card and 3 monitor in linux

First do xrand --listproviders in order to determine what providers are available inside an X11 session and then do xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0 in order to active it and enable the 3rd monitor connected to the 2nd graphics card. If you get this to work then add this to .xinitrc in order to make the changes permanent

Example of a .xinitrc file:
# $XConsortium: xinitrc.cpp,v 1.4 91/08/22 11:41:34 rws Exp $

# merge in defaults and keymaps

if [ -f $sysresources ]; then
    xrdb -merge $sysresources

if [ -f $sysmodmap ]; then
    xmodmap $sysmodmap

if [ -f $userresources ]; then
    xrdb -merge $userresources

if [ -f $usermodmap ]; then
    xmodmap $usermodmap

xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0
xrandr --output HDMI2 --auto --right-of HDMI-0

# Start the window manager:
if [ -z "$DESKTOP_SESSION" -a -x /usr/bin/ck-launch-session ]; then
    ck-launch-session startkde

I have now resumed my programming after a couple of months of vacation which was very much needed. I got a call one day from a friend that needed a system which can handle peoples reports on various problems like kitchen problems, water problems etc and I decided to make a system for it.
