Update of progress

I have now implemented the error reporting system in to the CMS and also rebuilt the administration part for the gallery which will make things easier in handling different situations. At the moment it only supports changes of title, description, order and highlight but it can be expanded without too much work. I have also launched another site that is using the system which is https://catchit.se which is my brother's future page which will be about selling pictures. This demands me to work up a whole new shopping feature which isn't available yet in this CMS but I always love a challenge. I will have to learn how to connect the different payment options such as paypal for example to the system, hopefully that part woun't be too hard to implement but who knows. Then I will have to come up with a smart solution to secure the original pictures from unwanted downloads and then somehow let the end user know where to get the picture they bought. A few problems that got solutions but I need to find them and that is the best part of all this because in the end when you solved it you feel pretty good about yourself.

I just wanted to give a heads up on what is to come and I got loads and loads of ideas to implement which means I got a lot to do if I want.

The next step

I have now resumed my programming after a couple of months of vacation which was very much needed. I got a call one day from a friend that needed a system which can handle peoples reports on various problems like kitchen problems, water problems etc and I decided to make a system for it. Little did I know that it would totally revolutionise my own project and that it would teach me much needed jquery skills to further enhance the CMS. I also
